The feast of Our Lady of Assumption is the most celebrated event in Pragasapuram. The entire village rejoices for ten days from August 6 to 15.

The traditional flag hoisting marks the beginning of the feast season. All villagers participate in this solemn ceremony.

Holy Novena Prayers

August 7โ€“14

Nine consecutive days of novena prayers. Each day includes Holy Mass, Rosary, and novena prayers.

Solemn Feast Mass & Car Procession โ€“ Our Lady of Assumption

August 15 โ€“ FEAST DAY

On August 15, the solemn feast mass is celebrated, followed by the grand car procession carrying Our Lady's statue through the village streets. Processions of St. Michael, St. Anthony, and Our Lady's float follow one after another in a grand spectacle.
